From Spam to Bacn
General Info May 24th, 2008
So by now you know what Spam is and wish you could find a way to eliminate it from your email box. Have you heard of Bacn? It is one of my favorite foods for breakfast, but in the digital world it is much more than that. Pronounced Bacon, this is a powerful internet marketing tool that you have most likely embraced, but haven’t heard a term for!
Bacn refers to electronic messages send by a service that you subscribe to and receive notifications from. Basically this is anything you have opted in for — RSS feeds, sales flyers, newsletters and much more.
Our number one tip on Bacn is keep your messages relevant to your readers. Don’t risk them considering your Bacn Spam and opting out.
